Senior Backend Software Engineer (Observability)

About the role

This senior position focuses on building and scaling the backend of a next‑generation observability platform for AI‑driven cloud infrastructure. You will work on high‑throughput services that ingest, store, and query telemetry data, enabling engineers to monitor and troubleshoot massive distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and scale backend services for telemetry ingestion, storage, query processing and alerting pipelines.
• Optimize distributed systems handling logs, metrics and traces to meet strict reliability and performance targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve architecture, scalability and developer experience.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents across large‑scale environments.
• Explore AI‑assisted operational intelligence and contribute to design discussions, code reviews and technical planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or ability to adopt it quickly in production.
• Proven track record designing and operating highly scalable, fault‑tolerant systems.
• Experience debugging and resolving issues in large‑scale production environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a team‑oriented mindset.
