Senior Business Consultant – Sanctions, PEP & Adverse Media Screening

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Consultant to guide financial institutions in designing and operating advanced sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening solutions. You will work closely with clients to translate regulatory requirements into technology‑driven processes that improve compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with client compliance, IT and operations teams to gather screening requirements.
• Advise on best practices for customer and transaction screening against global watchlists such as WorldCheck, Refinitiv and Dow Jones.
• Lead the configuration, tuning and optimisation of SymphonyAI screening platforms, balancing regulatory compliance with business efficiency.
• Integrate predictive and generative AI techniques to reduce false positives and enhance detection accuracy.
• Provide training, documentation and ongoing support to client users.
• Feed client feedback to product, engineering and data‑science teams for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive subject‑matter expertise in sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening.
• Proven hands‑on experience with customer and transaction screening platforms and watchlist structures.
• Deep understanding of global sanctions frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to calibrate detection parameters.
