Senior Coffee Engineer

About the role

The Senior Coffee Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Dublin. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining commercial coffee machines and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and service commercial coffee machines at client sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance.
• Optimize machine performance to meet quality and reliability standards.
• Provide on‑site customer support, training clients on proper operation and care.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for installations, product rollouts and technical insights.
• Document all service activities and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
• Support demonstrations or events as required.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical and electrical technical background with hands‑on experience servicing complex equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent customer‑focused communication and ability to train clients.
• Organised, able to prioritise service calls and manage schedules.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians and improving service processes.
• Familiarity with food‑service or hospitality environments and a passion for coffee quality.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel within Dublin and occasionally beyond.
• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., engineering, electronics) or equivalent practical experience.
