Senior Consultant - Transfer Agency Tax & Transparent Funds Hub

About the role

As a Senior Consultant in the Transfer Agency (TA) Tax and Tax Transparent Funds (TTF) Hub at Northern Trust, you will oversee the end‑to‑end TTF lifecycle, supporting clients and investors from onboarding through ongoing tax compliance. You will act as the primary technical advisor on tax matters within the Transfer Agency business and ensure accurate regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily TTF hub process, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to procedures and error mitigation.
• Provide tax technical guidance and operational support to TA teams and internal partners.
• Prepare and submit tax regulatory reports (IUT, FATCA, CRS) accurately and on schedule.
• Liaise with internal departments to deliver a high‑quality client experience and resolve escalated issues.
• Participate in client and department meetings, and represent the team in training sessions.
• Contribute to project work, process optimisation and implementation of new regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Operational experience in a Transfer Agency environment.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory reporting for investment funds.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while supporting team members.
