Senior Customs & Trade Consultant – Trainer (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a senior technical customs and trade expert who can combine deep compliance knowledge with a commercial, business‑development mindset. Based in Dublin City Centre, you will work in a hybrid model, advising key clients, delivering high‑impact training and driving the firm’s growth in international trade services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end consultancy on outsourced customs operations, including tariff classification, valuation and complex procedures such as IPR, OPR, customs warehousing and CBAM.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through targeted outreach, lead generation and professional networking.
• Lead consultative discovery sessions, design and deliver tailored training solutions for complex supply‑chain challenges.
• Manage RFQs and tender processes, and collaborate on marketing initiatives to position the firm as a market leader.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in customs/trade compliance with a proven record of client success.
• Degree in Business, Trade or a related discipline.
• Based in Ireland with a clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical customs language into commercial value.

Required skills

• AI (artificial intelligence) proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Hands‑on knowledge of customs software platforms.
