Senior Cybersecurity Architect – 6 month contract (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join a leading international IT & manufacturing organisation on a 6‑month renewable contract. Based in Dublin with a hybrid/flexible work model, you will shape the security architecture for a complex global enterprise, collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑level cybersecurity architecture and strategy.
• Author and review architecture artefacts such as ROMs, HLDs and BRDs.
• Define and implement security controls that align with business and technical requirements.
• Architect security solutions across multi‑cloud, AI and OT environments.
• Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and create mitigation plans.
• Advise stakeholders on risks, technologies and best practices.
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards and frameworks.
• Balance security and usability to enable business outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in cyber security and large‑scale enterprise infrastructure.
• Proven track record as a cybersecurity architect in multinational environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Experience delivering international‑scale projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or TOGAF are highly desirable.
• EU/EEA/UK citizenship or a valid work visa for Ireland (no sponsorship).
