Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our Cloud Infrastructure platform. This hands‑on leadership role combines technical contribution, architecture design, and people management, working closely with engineering leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain core platform capabilities such as infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, secrets management and developer productivity services.
• Promote reuse of shared components and internal libraries across engineering teams, reducing duplication.
• Own AWS cloud architecture, including networking, IAM, cost optimisation and high‑availability design.
• Support and troubleshoot large‑scale distributed systems, lead incident response and drive post‑incident reliability improvements.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for branching, deployment, containerisation and environment consistency.
• Embed security and privacy principles into platform design, including threat modelling, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning and encryption.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to platform engineering, infrastructure or DevOps.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot and improve large‑scale distributed systems.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with evolving priorities.
