Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote, highly collaborative engineering team that powers a globally used digital platform. You will be responsible for improving reliability, performance, and automation across large‑scale production environments while enabling development teams to deliver software quickly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimise large‑scale production infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Proactively monitor systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalability, resilience, and cost‑efficiency improvements.
• Design, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, safe software delivery.
• Deploy, manage, and support containerised applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline deployment processes and improve infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions and promote automation across operational workflows.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, and continuous evolution of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing large‑scale distributed production environments.
• Strong Linux system administration skills, including networking, storage, and performance optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and familiarity with on‑premises infrastructure.
• Proven experience deploying and operating applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code methodologies and CI/CD tooling.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions in production.
• Effective collaboration within distributed international teams.
