Senior Ecologist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Ecologist to strengthen our Ecology Survey offering within the Natural Environment department. The role combines field work, client interaction and project leadership, supporting the preservation of Ireland's natural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute a variety of ecology surveys, collaborating with a geospatial survey team.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and site investigations.
• Utilise field capture technology such as GPS and UAVs.
• Process, manage and interpret geospatial data using industry‑leading GIS platforms.
• Prepare quotations, tender bids and negotiate contracts.
• Lead projects, build client relationships and perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• Chartered Member of CIEEM.
• Minimum 2 years of project management and client‑focused experience.
• Right to work in Ireland and a clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
