Senior Financial Accountant – Aircraft Leasing

About the role

We are partnering with a Dublin‑based aircraft leasing platform to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. The role offers broad exposure across management reporting, technical accounting under IFRS and US GAAP, and commercial finance within the aircraft leasing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly US GAAP reporting.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations for aircraft, debt, reserves and deposits.
• Support month‑end close activities and post journal entries.
• Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Provide technical accounting support for IFRS and US GAAP.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance reporting, including CSRD.
• Assist with tax reporting and provisions.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Liaise with outsourced providers and key internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and finance projects.
• Manage bank accounts and cash activities.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with exposure to aircraft leasing.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• General Ledger (GL) expertise.
• Knowledge of US GAAP reporting.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
