About the role
The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Senior House Officer in Emergency Medicine for Wexford General Hospital. This whole‑time, specified‑purpose post is open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants and will be based in the Emergency Department of the hospital. The role is part of the HSE Dublin and South East health region covering Tipperary South, Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow and part of South Dublin. Applications close on 27 July 2026.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent).
- Full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Proven experience of practising medicine in Ireland or the United Kingdom.
- English language proficiency demonstrated by IELTS or OET.
