Team Leader – Wexford Clubhouse Service

About the role

We are seeking an empathetic Team Leader to join our Wexford Clubhouse Service, delivering person‑centred care to individuals with acquired brain injuries. You will combine hands‑on support with leadership responsibilities, helping clients regain independence while guiding the rehabilitation team.

Key responsibilities

• Support people with ABI in daily living, rehabilitation goals and community participation.
• Build strong, supportive relationships and help individuals follow personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain accurate records, contribute to reviews and ensure compliant, high‑quality practice.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations, including rota management and basic administration.
• Facilitate group activities, outings and programmes that reflect participants’ interests.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and external agencies to provide joined‑up, person‑centred support.
• Act as Keyworker, delivering tailored support based on each person’s needs.
• Lead audits, risk assessments and working groups to uphold service excellence.

Required profile

• Creative, driven and dynamic individual with a passion for brain‑injury rehabilitation.
• Warm, reliable communicator able to build trust and work well with others.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable balancing support work with service tasks.
• Willingness to drive, engage with community resources and support access to everyday opportunities.

Required skills

What we offer

• Permanent, full‑time (39 hours) contract.
• Salary range €38,058‑€54,615, dependent on experience.
• Opportunities to develop leadership skills and mentor Rehabilitation Assistants.
