Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Moore is expanding its Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRA) team and is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Dublin office. The role combines on‑site client work with hybrid office days, offering a balanced mix of independent audit assignments and advisory services for Irish credit unions and other not‑for‑profit organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate internal controls for design and operational effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and execute internal audit work programmes that meet professional standards, budgets and deadlines.
• Draft clear internal audit reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Liaise with client personnel to complete audit assignments and deliver recommendations.
• Develop internal audit plans and strategies tailored to each client.
• Travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in an internal audit function, outsourced internal audit services, or external audit with client‑facing responsibilities.
• Experience delivering professional services to financial institutions or not‑for‑profit entities.
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA) or Certified Internal Auditor (Institute of Internal Auditors).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Full driver’s licence.
