Senior Manager, Retail Excellence

About the role

The Senior Manager, Retail Excellence will lead operational performance across a nationwide retail network. Based in Dublin, you will drive strategic initiatives, continuous‑improvement programmes and governance processes that enhance efficiency, profitability and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of operational excellence programmes across all retail sites.
• Identify, design and implement initiatives that improve consistency, compliance and profitability.
• Use KPI reporting and business insights to monitor performance, spot trends and mitigate risks.
• Oversee operational reporting, stock control, data management, shrink performance and business support functions.
• Support annual planning, budgeting and performance‑management cycles.
• Ensure governance frameworks and processes stay aligned with strategic objectives.
• Drive rollout of new products, campaigns, systems and operational processes.
• Develop robust project plans, timelines and performance measures for transformation initiatives.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic projects.
• Facilitate business reviews, operational forums and performance discussions with senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years in senior retail operations, operational excellence or multi‑site leadership.
• Proven track record delivering operational improvement and business transformation programmes.
• Strong project and change‑management capability.
• Experience leading teams and influencing senior commercial and finance stakeholders.
• Data‑driven analytical and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Practical knowledge of LEAN methodology.
• Practical knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles.
• Practical knowledge of Operational Excellence frameworks.
