Senior Manager, Workforce Tax (Dublin)

About the role

The Workforce Tax team at PwC supports large corporate employers in navigating tax and regulatory changes that affect their people and operations. As a Senior Manager you will lead consulting engagements, develop new business opportunities and help clients align their people strategy with employment tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory projects covering employment tax, workforce restructuring, payroll optimisation and revenue interactions.
• Provide tax due‑diligence support on mergers and acquisitions and advise on share‑scheme matters.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, contributing to the growth of the practice.
• Mentor and manage senior consultants and analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in specialist groups such as Equity, Gender Pay Gap and Payroll Consulting.
• Leverage technology solutions to deliver innovative tax services.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in tax consulting, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage senior‑level client engagements.
• Strong understanding of Irish employment tax legislation and multinational tax issues.
• Degree in accounting, law, finance or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
