Senior Principal Architect (Cloud & GenAI)

About the role

The Senior Principal Architect (Cloud & GenAI) will lead enterprise‑scale cloud modernization and generative AI transformation for banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) clients. This role combines C‑level advisory with hands‑on engineering to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to CIO/CTO and chief architects on cloud, data, and AI strategy.
• Define enterprise architecture blueprints aligned with TOGAF and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards and ensure governance compliance.
• Drive end‑to‑end cloud migration, re‑architecture, and adoption of serverless, event‑driven, and microservices patterns.
• Implement generative AI solutions, including agentic AI workflows, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and enterprise knowledge bases.
• Operationalize GenAI at scale across business functions.
• Design multi‑region, highly available, zero‑trust cloud‑native architectures.
• Establish responsible AI frameworks, model governance, bias mitigation, and data privacy controls.
• Build MLOps pipelines for continuous model lifecycle management.

Required profile

• 18–22 years of experience in enterprise IT, architecture, and digital transformation.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise AI/GenAI implementations and global transformation programs.
• Strong exposure to the BFSI domain (preferred).
• Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Generative AI/ML certifications, TOGAF, and optional data analytics, DevOps, or cloud security certifications.

• AWS (primary) and multi‑cloud strategy.
• Generative AI technologies: Bedrock, AgentCore, Lambda, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI frameworks.
• Data platforms: Kinesis, MSK, Databricks, Lakehouse.
• Engineering excellence: DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code.
• Security & compliance: Zero Trust, data privacy, regulatory alignment.
