About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Dublin is seeking a Senior Programme Support Associate to assist in planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on migration programmes in Ireland. Reporting to the Chief of Mission, the role works closely with programme staff, donors, government partners and UN agencies to ensure high‑quality, compliant delivery of IOM’s portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of IOM Ireland projects, ensuring alignment with policies, donor requirements, budgets and timelines.
- Collect, analyse and report on monitoring and evaluation data, tracking performance against indicators and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare and review donor reports, programme updates and briefing notes, validating compliance with agreements.
- Support the design of project proposals, concept notes and funding applications, consolidating technical inputs and assessing alignment with donor priorities.
- Identify funding opportunities, analyse donor priorities and contribute to resource mobilisation strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Development, Migration Studies, Law or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or a high‑school diploma with seven years of experience.
- Proven experience in project development, humanitarian or migration‑related activities, budget drafting, research and report writing.
- Experience in donor relations, grant management and results‑based project reporting in an international development context.
Required skills
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools and protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) as required by IOM.
