Senior Project Manager – Execution Lead (Pharma Capital Projects)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of a €30M+ capital investment programme within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cork. This site‑based, 12‑month contract role will act as the central authority for delivering a critical production asset and its supporting civil, mechanical, electrical and process infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project delivery across scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Lead multidisciplinary site teams covering civil, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines.
• Manage EPCM interfaces and coordinate contractor performance for all work packages.
• Drive construction, installation and mechanical completion activities through to handover.
• Maintain strict schedule control, report progress and implement recovery actions when needed.
• Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders, EPCM teams and site contractors.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing €20M–€100M+ CAPEX projects in a regulated environment.
• Strong background in EPCM or owner‑side delivery, preferably within pharma or life‑sciences.
• Full lifecycle exposure from execution through commissioning and handover.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage contractors on site.
• Decisive leadership with a focus on safety, cost control and schedule performance.
