Senior Project Manager – Renewable Energy (Wind, Solar, Battery Storage)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale renewable energy projects across wind, solar and battery storage in County Kildare. You will own the full project lifecycle, from early development through to construction and operation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee key development milestones, including land acquisition, grid connection negotiations and securing planning consents.
• Manage later‑stage development tasks such as discharging planning conditions and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
• Lead PMO activities: monitor financial budgets, track timelines and provide clear progress reporting to senior management.
• Collaborate with the construction team and external contractors to ensure a smooth transition from development to the construction phase.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience managing renewable energy projects or comparable infrastructure programmes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and commercial aspects of wind, solar and battery storage projects.
• Experience in utilities or major infrastructure projects is also considered.
