Senior/Lead PHP Full-stack Engineer (Angular)

About the role

Emergn is looking for a Senior/Lead PHP Full‑stack Engineer to build enterprise applications end‑to‑end using PHP (Symfony) and Angular. You will partner with Business Analysts to shape solutions, not just implement them, and help drive real change for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack features across a PHP (Symfony) back‑end and an Angular front‑end.
• Take ownership of solutions, collaborating with Business Analysts to shape requirements.
• Architect and integrate micro‑services, exposing and consuming secure REST APIs.
• Model and optimise data in MSSQL and improve performance with Redis caching.
• Apply solid engineering practices such as MVC, Dependency Injection, and CQRS, supported by unit and integration tests.
• Contribute actively within an Agile/Scrum team.

Required profile

• Strong PHP expertise with hands‑on experience in Symfony.
• Solid Angular experience (2+ years) for building modern front‑ends.
• Expertise in relational databases, particularly MSSQL, and Redis caching.
• Good grasp of design patterns (MVC, Dependency Injection, CQRS) and architecture styles (micro‑services, layered).
• Experience building and securing REST APIs, including OAuth.
• Proven delivery in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong testing discipline.
