Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building robust systems and influencing architectural decisions. You will help large organisations assess the financial health of their partners by developing a data‑driven platform that scales as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own backend services in a Python micro‑services architecture.
• Collaborate with product, leadership, and cross‑functional teams to define requirements and prioritize work.
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Participate in migration from a monolith to micro‑services on AWS.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve platform reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience building backend systems at a senior level.
• Comfortable taking ownership of components and influencing technical direction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a lean, fast‑moving team.
