Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead and elevate our front‑end and back‑end processes. You will work fully remote, collaborating with leadership and the development team to ensure every product meets our high standards for design, performance, security, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce JavaScript and CSS/SCSS code standards, review practices, and consistent shipping quality.
• Own the end‑to‑end path from design handoff through staging, review cycles, and deployment to prevent accidental client releases.
• Make critical back‑end architecture decisions and conduct security reviews on every push.
• Design and maintain a robust QA process that catches issues before they reach clients.
• Partner with leadership to scope technical work, surface risks early, and adjust plans when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering at an agency or product team, building processes from scratch.
• Hands‑on coder who regularly writes JavaScript and CSS/SCSS and can review pull requests confidently.
• Track record of shipping front‑end work with strong performance, accessibility, and polish.
• Experience establishing or improving QA processes under real client deadlines.
• Clear, direct communicator who can flag risks and course‑correct with leadership.
