Senior Tax Manager – Advisory (Corporate Tax)

About the role

The Senior Tax Manager will join a leading professional services firm in Ireland, working within the Corporate Tax team to advise a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed and internationally owned businesses. Reporting to partners and senior leadership, the role combines client relationship management with technical tax advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management team in building and maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating cross‑departmental service offerings.
• Manage payment and return‑filing obligations for a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Advise clients, alongside partners, on business structures, transfer pricing and profit repatriation.
• Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary service teams on advisory assignments.
• Contribute to departmental targets including billing, net fee income and cash collection.
• Assist with business development, marketing activities and internal process reviews.
• Support staff development through training and peer‑learning initiatives.

Required profile

• AITI qualified and a qualified accountant.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience at manager level in a practice environment.
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance for larger corporates and consultancy projects.
• Strong technical understanding of Irish tax legislation, commentary and case law.
• Experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and planning capability with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Eagerness to grow within a changing tax landscape.
