Senior Tax Manager - Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join a leading professional services firm in Ireland. The role sits within the Corporate Tax Team and works closely with partners and senior leadership to deliver tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, many with international operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management team in building and maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating cross‑departmental service offerings.
• Manage payment and return‑filing obligations for a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Advise clients, alongside partners, on business structures, transfer pricing and profit repatriation.
• Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary service teams on advisory assignments.
• Contribute to departmental goals such as billing, net fee income and cash collection.
• Assist with business development, marketing activities and internal process reviews.
• Support staff development and deliver training or peer‑learning initiatives.

Required profile

• AITI qualified and a qualified accountant.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience at manager level in a practice environment.
• Proven experience in corporate tax compliance for larger corporates and consultancy assignments.
• Strong technical understanding of Irish tax legislation, commentary and case law.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise assignments and manage client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and planning capabilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
