Senior Tax Manager – EMEA (Direct & Indirect Tax)

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join the EMEA tax function of a globally recognised technology business. The role is high‑impact, operating at the centre of a complex, fast‑moving international tax environment and will be based in Dublin with a hybrid working model.
Key responsibilities
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance across the EMEA region.
- Support tax provisioning to ensure accurate corporate, deferred and indirect tax reporting.
- Lead process‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.
- Assist with audits, tax authority engagements and regional tax matters.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to implement tax strategies.
- Review tax payments, returns and reconciliations for accuracy and timeliness.
- Contribute to global tax projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
Required profile
- 8+ years’ experience in Big 4 or multinational in‑house tax environments.
- Strong experience across both direct and indirect tax.
- Proven exposure to EMEA tax frameworks and multi‑jurisdictional environments.
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and/or CTA preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capability.
- High attention to detail and ability to operate at pace.
- Demonstrated ownership of tax‑related projects.
Required skills
What we offer
- €127,000 per annum salary (visible).
- 11‑month fixed‑term contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent.
- Hybrid working: 2 days per week in Dublin office, 3 days remote.
