Senior Tax Manager – Global Tax Compliance Lead

About the role

This senior position leads the global tax compliance and reporting function for a fast‑growing multinational group. You will manage tax risk, ensure accurate IFRS‑based reporting, and support the company’s long‑term expansion strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consolidated tax reporting under IFRS, including entity‑level budgets, forecasts and year‑end statements.
• Develop and improve processes for tax disclosures and statutory financial statement reporting.
• Drive standardisation, optimisation and scalability of corporate tax compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors for corporate tax aspects of group and entity audits.
• Oversee end‑to‑end corporate tax compliance, working closely with local tax advisors.
• Manage global relationships with external tax advisors, including fee budgets, delivery standards and deadlines.
• Identify and implement technology and automation solutions to increase compliance efficiency.
• Maintain a robust corporate tax control framework and monitor legislative changes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and business teams to integrate tax considerations into transactions and initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing tax compliance team.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional with at least 10 years post‑qualification experience in a complex, fast‑moving organisation.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical capability and strategic perspective on complex data.
• Confident communicator able to influence and build trust across functions.
• Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing teams.
