Senior Vice President – Financial Reporting (Funds)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Vice President to lead Financial Reporting for a global financial institution's Funds team. This senior leadership position involves overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements for a diverse range of complex investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements for complex funds, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients and auditors to deliver timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
• Review core financial components – balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and statement of changes in equity – to ensure accurate reconciliations and comprehensive note disclosures.
• Monitor accounting standard developments and implement updates to maintain compliance.
• Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance, review, and coaching.
• Collaborate with external auditors and clients to incorporate adjustments and finalize statements.

Required profile

• 9+ years of financial accounting experience, preferably in fund administration or a Big‑4 environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP with proven experience preparing statements for mutual funds, hedge funds or similar structures.
• Highly organized, deadline‑focused and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
