Site Foreman / Site Manager – Large Construction Projects

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Site Manager to lead a large construction project in the west of Ireland. You will join a dedicated team responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and develop look‑ahead programmes to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare progress reports, chair site meetings and maintain the site diary.
• Plan site set‑up, security, logistics, deliveries and traffic management.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to sequence finishing trades, monitor resources, labour, plant and overheads.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and the design team on construction issues.
• Issue material requisitions, monitor quality standards and enforce health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience with a main contractor in Ireland on large commercial, residential, healthcare or retail projects.
• Strong background in supervising projects to tight deadlines and high standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers and the design team.
• Fully familiar with current construction health and safety regulations.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for progress reporting and programme preparation.
