Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The client is a nationally recognised construction company delivering projects from large‑scale infrastructure to smaller assignments. They are seeking a Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, programme adherence, budget control and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange office compound, welfare facilities, signage and access according to approved site layout.
• Conduct site inductions for all sub‑contractors and maintain crew lists on Procore.
• Maintain a daily site diary on Procore, recording personnel, sub‑contractors, visitors, deliveries, plant movements, variations, delays, progress updates, photos/videos, health & safety forms, inspections and permits.
• Complete QF 27 – New Site Set‑Up Checklist and QF 22 – Daily Checklist where applicable.
• Ensure timesheets are completed daily for all sub‑contractor crew members and verify compliance before 9 am each morning.
• Identify missing contracts or documentation and escalate to Operations, Contracts and Commercial teams.
• Supervise sub‑contractors and site teams, coordinating with the Contracts Manager and Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising sub‑contractors and site teams on construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate with Contracts and Operations managers and maintain accurate operational, commercial and compliance records.
• Strong focus on health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.

Required skills

• Procore construction management software.
• ISO‑aligned health & safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Site diary and daily checklist administration (QF 27, QF 22).
