Site Manager

About the role

Greenvolt is seeking a Site Manager to lead construction sites for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations on construction sites and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies, conduct site inspections and address safety concerns.
• Conduct quality inspections and audits, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage site resources – labour, materials and equipment – to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
• Liaise with clients, engineers and other stakeholders, lead regular site meetings and provide clear progress updates.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and safety records.
• Monitor project expenditures, support budget preparation and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site management.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as required.
• Proactive attitude toward learning and sharing knowledge with team members.
• Awareness of industry trends in renewable energy and construction.
