Site Manager – Pharmaceutical & Industrial Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead pharmaceutical and life‑science construction projects in the Cork area. The role involves overseeing projects up to €5 million, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and delivering high‑quality, safe, and on‑time builds.

Key responsibilities

• Take full day‑to‑day responsibility for site operations on pharmaceutical and industrial projects.
• Develop and maintain risk assessments, enforce PPE use, and conduct safety inductions and drills.
• Plan and manage site logistics, coordinate daily workflow and monitor progress against programme milestones.
• Source, schedule and control construction materials, plant and subcontractor teams.
• Ensure statutory and client compliance with health, safety and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technically demanding construction sites, preferably in pharma, life‑science or similar regulated environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within GMP‑type constraints.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive performance.
