Site Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Site Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale solar renewable energy projects in Cork. You will own day‑to‑day site operations from mobilisation through to commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site activities, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain project programme and budget targets, reporting progress to senior management.
• Drive health & safety standards, conduct regular safety briefings and lead by example.
• Perform quality checks, resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Run site meetings, keep stakeholders informed, and support handover and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, Project Engineer, Site Engineer or Foreperson in construction.
• Background in energy, infrastructure, electrical, mechanical or general building projects.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on busy sites.
• Confident in leading teams, managing subcontractors and communicating with stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
