Site Procurement Senior Specialist

About the role

Grifols is seeking a Site Procurement Senior Specialist to lead procurement activities at one of its manufacturing sites. The role ensures continuity of operations, cost control, supplier performance and compliance with global and local policies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary procurement interface for site functions including Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, H&S, HR, Finance and Administration.
• Develop and execute purchasing plans in collaboration with Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing to meet daily, weekly and annual material needs.
• Manage demand planning for critical materials, special delivery requirements and annual order volumes.
• Participate in site projects (investment, optimisation, improvement) to embed procurement considerations from the outset.
• Execute sourcing activities for site‑managed spend, prepare RFx documentation, conduct bid analysis and recommend awards.
• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with local suppliers within approved limits and support contract drafting, signing and renewal.
• Ensure compliance with category strategies, supplier panels and the Global Procurement Policy.
• Resolve procure‑to‑pay exceptions and guide requesters on approved procurement tools and catalogues.
• Act as the escalation point for supply, quality, service or commercial incidents at site level.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site‑level procurement within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract management and category strategy implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functions.
• Ability to drive cost‑control initiatives while maintaining supply continuity and compliance.
