Site Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Site Trainer to support employee development across our manufacturing site. You will identify training needs, deliver engaging programmes, and ensure all staff maintain the knowledge and certifications required for safe and effective performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, update and promote the Nvolve training system.
• Facilitate induction training, including manual handling, food safety and related paperwork.
• Deliver SOP and work‑instruction training, keeping content current.
• Assist in designing in‑house training programmes for SOPs.
• Collaborate with Production Leaders to identify needs, track progress and flag concerns.
• Ensure training compliance by monitoring certifications and refresher dates.
• Prepare reports, maintain accurate training records and matrices.
• Support factory audits by keeping training documentation audit‑ready.
• Organise First Aid, FLT, Shunter, Reach Truck and Stacker training, tracking expiries.
• Coordinate external trainers, design training aids and manage training facilities.
• Schedule sessions to minimise production disruption.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a trainer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to develop training materials and use training software.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with a training management system (desirable).
• Train‑the‑Trainer qualification (essential).
• Familiarity with BRC standards (desirable).
