About the role
We are seeking a Skilled Trainer to join a public‑sector client on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role can be based in Galway, Sligo, Castlebar, Letterkenny or Roscommon and follows a blended working model with a minimum of four days per week in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and tailoring training schedules to meet community‑area needs across multiple disciplines.
- Support the lead trainer in developing training materials and the overall training approach for the Community Care Record programme.
- Deliver high‑quality end‑user training on a digital clinical system using classroom, virtual, floor‑walking, one‑to‑one and scenario‑based methods.
- Create user‑friendly guides, quick‑reference sheets, eLearning modules and demonstration videos that align with national standards and local workflows.
- Act as a primary point of contact during system deployments, providing on‑site support during go‑live and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
- Mentor junior trainers, manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Identify workflow gaps, risks and user challenges, escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with clinical safety standards, information governance and data‑quality requirements.
- Gather feedback to continuously improve training delivery and system adoption.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering training on digital applications, preferably within a healthcare or community‑care setting.
- Ability to adapt training styles for clinical and non‑clinical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with project managers, solution leads and service managers.
- Excellent organisational abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness to mentor and develop junior training staff.

What we offer
- Hourly rate of €32.02 (annualised salary €58,477) for a 35‑hour week.
- 30 days of annual leave plus paid bank holidays.
