About the role
MongoDB’s Atlas Growth team is looking for a mid‑level Software Engineer 3 to help build customer‑facing features for our cloud data platform. You will work in a cross‑functional squad, collaborating with product, design, analytics and research to deliver high‑impact improvements that drive user retention and conversion.
Key responsibilities
- Write clean, well‑tested TypeScript/JavaScript code and contribute to front‑end features using React.
- Collaborate closely with product and design partners to iterate on new customer‑facing functionality.
- Draft technical specifications and lead small working groups of 2‑3 engineers.
- Participate in code and document reviews, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Identify product improvements, drive them to completion, and support triage of support requests.
- Join the on‑call rotation for the services you own once onboarded.
Required profile
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with a modern front‑end framework such as React.
- Experience writing database queries (document‑based or relational).
- Ability to write and review technical specs and lead small projects.
- Interest in A/B testing or product design.
