Software Engineer – Cloud EOS Team

About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Cloud EOS team, developing cutting‑edge, cloud‑enabled WAN connectivity solutions. The role works across multiple European locations and collaborates with a high‑caliber group of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver control‑plane, data‑plane, and management platform APIs/services.
• Build and maintain software that runs on EOS (Extensible Operating System) using multithreading, multicore, and DPDK‑based forwarding.
• Integrate public‑cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Terraform‑driven provisioning.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and micro‑service architectures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Software Development Engineer.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming on Linux.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
