Sponsorship Communications and Activation Specialist

About the role

The Sponsorship Communications & Activation Specialist will support the development and execution of PTSB's Sponsorship Communications Strategy across national and local properties. You will create compelling social media content, manage agency relationships and activate sponsorship events that reinforce the bank’s brand and drive engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Sponsorship Strategy with a focus on communication and activation.
• Act as relationship manager for rights holders, ambassadors, agency partners and suppliers.
• Project‑manage sponsorship activation, coordinating with internal stakeholders across the bank.
• Develop and deliver sponsorship press releases, speeches and supporting communications.
• Create and publish content for owned channels including in‑branch displays, website, mobile app and digital platforms.
• Identify and pursue external opportunities to promote the bank’s sponsorship programmes.

Required profile

• Marketing or communications degree, or equivalent business qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sponsorship marketing and communications.
• Proven track record of delivering sponsorship communication campaigns with measurable impact.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in social media content strategy and creation.
• Experience in large‑scale event management.
• Ability to draft press releases, speeches and other communications materials.
