Staff Nurse – Elderly Care

About the role

Orwell Healthcare is seeking a Registered General Nurse to join our Care of the Elderly team in Rathgar, Dublin. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care within a supportive, homely environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care to residents in line with NMBI and HIQA guidelines.
• Assist in the management and daily care of residents, adhering to Orwell Healthcare policies and HIQA standards.
• Maintain professional integrity and clinical practice according to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams both within and outside the organisation.

Required profile

• Registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in elderly or long‑term care.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
