Staff Nurse – Flexible Shifts in Wexford

About the role

Emerald Nursing is seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to provide high‑quality nursing care across a range of respected private hospitals, HSE teaching hospitals, specialist centres and care groups in Wexford. You will work on a flexible, self‑managed diary that matches your personal schedule while delivering patient‑centred care in acute, community or specialist settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care in acute hospital, community or specialist environments.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medication and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handover information.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse.
• Minimum six months of recent clinical experience within the Irish healthcare system.
• Strong clinical references and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training, Garda vetting and occupational health clearance (arranged by Emerald Nursing).
