Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and energetic Registered Nurses to join our residential care team, providing high‑quality, person‑centred care to older adults. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to residents.
• Promote a caring and respectful environment that supports physical, emotional, and spiritual well‑being.
• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to care staff.
• Encourage independence and dignity in daily care practices.
• Support inspections and audits to maintain top standards.
• Act as Nurse in Charge when required, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Nursing.
• Registered with An Bord Altranais with an active PIN.
• Valid certification (or willingness to train) in Infection Control, Manual Handling, CPR, Medication Management, Safeguarding, Dementia Care, etc.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts.
