Staff Nurse – Medicine for the Elderly

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Medicine for the Elderly team on Ward 2C at Raigmore Hospital. The role involves caring for 30 patients with complex medical needs, including frailty, cognitive impairment, and multiple long‑term conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Support patients with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and palliative care needs.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence‑based practice on a 12‑hour rotational shift pattern.
• Collaborate with senior charge nurse and team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
