Staff Nurse – Residential Care

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Staff Nurses to join Ashbury Nursing Home in Blackrock, Dublin. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will provide person‑centred nursing care to our residents, supporting their physical, psychological and spiritual wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day nursing care and assess individual care needs.
• Develop, implement and evaluate personalised care plans.
• Administer medications in line with doctors’ prescriptions and NMBI/HIQA guidelines.
• Safely manage controlled drugs according to established procedures and legislation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure holistic resident care.

Required profile

• Registered on the NMBI Live Register of Nurses (General Division) – not a Decision Letter holder.
• Nursing degree from a recognised third‑level institution.
• Eligible to work in Ireland and able to commute to the nursing home.
• Experience in a nursing home or interest in gerontology is advantageous.

Required skills

• Medication administration.
• Knowledge of NMBI and HIQA regulations.
• Controlled drug custody and administration procedures.
