About the role
The Cork University Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to join its Theatre and Surgical Hub. This permanent, full‑time position is open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants and will be based on the Wilton campus in Cork.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team with pre‑operative preparation, intra‑operative support, and post‑operative recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and HSE standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing registration in Ireland.
- Experience in theatre or surgical environments is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to read and adhere to the detailed Job Specification for post CUHN100210.
