Strategic Assistant

About the role

The Strategic Assistant will support the delivery of high‑impact business projects for Novartis Group, reporting to the CEO and the Executive Committee. This role acts as a subject‑matter expert on assigned workflows and collaborates closely with project teams to drive strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for designated workflow streams, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Partner with project teams to execute tasks, build a network of internal experts, and independently manage individual workstreams under project manager guidance.
• Produce strategic insights through rigorous analysis, distilling results into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Notify technical complaints, adverse events, or special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.
• Distribute marketing samples when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategy development, project management, and financial oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to work in international, cross‑functional environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with curiosity and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
