Supervising Pharmacist – New Store Opening

About the role
We are seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to lead the launch of a brand‑new pharmacy in Birr, Co. Offaly. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to shape store operations, workflows and team culture from day one, without weekend, late‑night or Bank Holiday commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, suppliers and the local community.
- Dispense prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders and communicate with suppliers.
- Ensure all paperwork, SOPs and regulatory requirements are up to date.
- Collaborate with owners to optimise store performance.
- Perform additional day‑to‑day pharmacy duties as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years registration as a Pharmacist with the PSI.
- BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Proven people‑management experience.
Required skills
- Familiarity with the McLernon’s pharmacy management system.
