Supplier Engineer – Hybrid (Cork)

About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Engineer to join our world‑leading medical device company in Cork. The role is hybrid and offers strong career progression while supporting the integration of new materials, products and equipment into manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a technical team member with Purchasing, Supplier Quality and Business Units on all aspects of supplier management.
• Lead resolution of non‑conformances, CAPAs and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Support validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and investigate material quality issues.
• Ensure components meet GMP‑compliant specifications and drive corrective actions with suppliers.
• Develop new supply sources, assess supplier‑requested process changes and lead material value‑improvement projects.
• Plan and execute product/process transfers and create supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Level 8 qualification in Engineering or a related Science discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience in supplier engineering, manufacturing, materials, quality or engineering project management.
• Supply‑chain project‑management experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
