Supply Chain Coordinator – Pharmaceutical Logistics

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end shipment of drug products and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from internal and external manufacturing sites to international customers and affiliates. This role ensures smooth import/export operations, prepares required shipping documentation, and supports procurement activities through close collaboration with suppliers, 3PLs, customs brokers, and carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate order fulfilment across suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners, prioritising urgent shipments.
• Liaise with Sales, Production, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance to resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare accurate import/export documents for international shipments.
• Manage logistics escalations, including claims and complaints, and drive corrective actions.
• Review transport costs and support logistics provider evaluations and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Responsible Person to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice.
• Assist Finance with credit/debit notes related to price adjustments.

Required profile

• Relevant third‑level qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life‑sciences or other regulated industry.
