Supply Chain Manager

About the role

ProAmpac is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead its supply chain function, ensuring manufacturing meets customer demand efficiently and safely. The role oversees planning, warehouse, logistics and material management across the flexible packaging business.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures.
• Lead the Supply Chain team, aligning goals with business objectives and core values.
• Direct the Planning function to use available tools for optimal production schedules and labour utilisation.
• Oversee Warehouse and Logistics to deliver raw materials and finished goods on time and in full.
• Manage material transactions (purchase, receipt, storage, issue, shipment) using the SYSPRO system.
• Investigate, report and resolve any variances in material control.
• Coordinate with HR and Training to plan labour resources strategically and cost‑effectively.
• Plan and coordinate product trials through production, storage and shipment, recording results in the CRM database.
• Maintain records of New Product Development activities to support grant funding applications.
• Identify and implement improvements across the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, warehouse operations and material flow.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including finance, HR and R&D.
• Commitment to health & safety and company core values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SYSPRO ERP system.
• Experience using CRM databases for trial reporting.
