Supply Chain Specialist – Medical Device Scale‑up

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our fast‑growing medical‑device scale‑up in Galway. You will ensure material availability, manage supplier relationships and support new product introductions while contributing to a key ERP implementation project.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to guarantee material availability for production.
• Coordinate with over 20 suppliers, handling communication, order placement and performance monitoring.
• Manage inventory levels and logistics for manufacturing operations.
• Support the rollout of a new ERP system, working closely with cross‑functional teams to improve processes.
• Monitor supply‑chain compliance, resolve supply and quality issues, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of supply‑chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably MedTech.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on attitude with a desire to grow in a scale‑up.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week in Galway.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP implementation projects.
